Position Overview:

The Financial Operations Manager at Catalent will report to the Finance Director and is responsible for the precise oversight, reporting, and analysis of financial and statistical data concerning the company's operations. This role also entails the development and maintenance of robust internal control frameworks and procedures to protect the company's assets.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee, guide, and coordinate all accounting operational activities, including the recruitment, training, and retention of skilled accounting personnel Manage the collection of all financial and statistical information necessary for an accurate assessment of business performance Prepare and coordinate internal financial reports. Supply management with analytical reports that facilitate decision-making, such as Direct Labour variance, Material usage, Scrap, departmental expenditures, and overhead analysis Develop and manage the annual budget alongside monthly forecasts Evaluate existing accounting and internal control practices, propose enhancements, and monitor ongoing effectiveness Collaborate with external auditors and lead financial audits, offering suggestions for improvements Conduct sales analysis for planning and actual sales to align with forecasts Undertake additional responsibilities as assignedIdeal Candidate Profile:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration (Accounting, Finance) is essential Professional designations such as C.M.A., C.G.A., or C.A. are preferred A minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in financial management is required Experience in a manufacturing setting at a mid-management level is necessary Familiarity with GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles) and tax regulations (including income tax & value-added tax) Proficient computer skills, particularly with ERP systems and MS Office Ability to perform tasks that may require sitting, standing, walking regularly, and occasionally lifting 0-15 pounds Demonstrated leadership experience at Catalent, including participation in leadership development programs, may be considered in lieu of external experienceWhy Consider Catalent:
