Your Opportunity

Our Sarnia & Strathroy offices are seeking a Senior Manager to join the Financial Reporting & Insights team and take ownership of the following responsibilities:

  • Lead review and compilation engagements, in addition to corporate tax returns for clients in a variety of businesses and non-profit enterprises
  • Build effective working relationships with client contacts and respond effectively to client requests
  • Complete trust returns and trust working papers
  • Coordinate tax assignments, including preparation of tax returns (T2s, T4s, T5s, GST/HST), and coordinate with the tax department to ensure queries are cleared and deadlines are met
  • Ensure that all significant engagement matters are documented and brought to the attention of the Manager/Partner, as well as keeping them informed of the progress of the engagement
  • Follow-up with appropriate government agencies on questions relating to payroll, assessments, GST, HST, business numbers

Your Experience and Education

  • You have completed your CPA designation
  • You have at least 5+ years of private enterprise experience in the public accounting industry, with at least 1+ years at the management level
  • You have in-depth experience in relation to IFRS and ASPE files
  • You value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work
  • You display strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
