About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst, Digital Health and Privacy to join our team at Doctors of BC. As a key member of our Digital Health and Privacy team, you will play a critical role in supporting our organization's vision to promote a social, economic, and political climate in which members can provide the citizens of BC with the highest standard of healthcare.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development of policy documents and the communication of policy positions and issues related to digital health and privacy.
  • Provide technical expertise and research support to the Digital Health and Privacy team.
  • Conduct organizational privacy impact assessments and provide advice on digital health strategy engagement work.
  • Analyze data and create briefing notes and reports on the current state of various projects and initiatives.
  • Record and track reported privacy matters and present digital health and privacy information as directed.
  • Support members and internal/external stakeholders with inquiries.
Requirements
  • A post-secondary degree in health or a related field and at least 2-4 years' experience in an analyst role or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably related to engagement in information technology and/or project coordination.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct and critically appraise research and writing privacy impact assessments and briefing notes for Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors.
  • Understanding of the BC healthcare system and experience evaluating projects related to health technology in practice.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Advanced computer skills and proficiency with project management software.
