About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Privacy Practice Analyst to join our team at Community Living BC. As a key member of our Information Management department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the organization's compliance with privacy regulations and laws.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert guidance and support to business units on privacy and information management practices
  • Lead and coordinate investigations of privacy incidents, including responding to and managing information incidents and privacy breaches
  • Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and standards to support CLBC's privacy initiatives
  • Monitor and stay up-to-date on changes to laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to privacy and information management
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with privacy regulations and laws
Requirements
  • Expert knowledge of FOIPPA and other relevant privacy laws and regulations
  • Ability to interpret complex privacy concepts and requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office and other relevant software applications
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business, Law, or Information Management
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a senior policy or program analyst position, with a focus on privacy and information management
  • CIPP designation is an asset
