The Job

The Senior Analyst, Digital Health & Privacy will be responsible for supporting the Digital Health & Privacy team through research and technical expertise, committee support, and the development of policy documents and communication of policy positions and issues.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in health informatics, project coordination, and research, and will be able to analyze data, create briefing notes and reports, and present digital health and privacy information as directed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Digital Health & Privacy team through research and technical expertise
  • Develop policy documents and communicate policy positions and issues
  • Analyze data and create briefing notes and reports
  • Present digital health and privacy information as directed
  • Record and track reported privacy matters
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree in health or business-related field and at least 2-4 years' experience in an analyst role or an equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably related to engagement in information technology and/or project coordination
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct and critically appraise research and writing privacy impact assessments and briefing notes for Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors
  • Understanding of the BC healthcare system
  • Experience evaluating projects related to health technology in practice and the privacy implications
