Automotive Finance Manager

Burlington Hyundai is in search of an Automotive Finance Manager. We are looking for a driven individual who possesses a positive demeanor and a commitment to fostering a collaborative team environment. This role is crucial at Burlington Hyundai, serving as the primary service representative responsible for delivering an exceptional experience to our clients while addressing their financial service requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage directly with clients to elucidate and recommend financing alternatives, extended warranties, aftermarket products, and other services.
- Identify competitive financing rates to enhance customer sales.
- Process vehicle financing applications and assist clients in securing approvals.
- Ensure all documentation is thoroughly completed, accurately filled out, and properly filed.
- Cultivate strong relationships with lending institutions to provide a variety of program options and competitive rates.
- Explore new programs that will benefit clients and encourage purchases.
- Ensure adherence to OMVIC and all relevant Ontario Motor Vehicle regulations.
- Participate in and conduct sales meetings as necessary.
- Educate the sales team on available financing options and programs to promote them effectively to clients.
- Generate and maintain reports as required, including daily pending sheets and weekly/monthly F&I Sales and Product Summaries.
- Prepare accurate documentation for the accounting department and clients, ensuring timely processing of deals to expedite funding.
- Attend management meetings to review the productivity of the F&I Office as needed.
- Coordinate aftermarket items not supplied by the dealer with the service department.
- Demonstrate effective time management skills.
- Adhere to a professional dress code at all times.
- Collaborate with and support other departments within the dealership. Assist the Manager and Sales Team in various capacities, including deal structuring, customer assistance, and supervising the sales floor.
- Keep the switchboard informed of your location at all times.
- Complete assigned tasks punctually.
- Take initiative to resolve issues as necessary.
- Foster a team-oriented atmosphere and maintain a positive culture on the sales floor.
Qualifications
- 2 - 5 years of experience in Automotive Financial Services.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex programs to clients.
- Strong understanding of financial compliance requirements.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities to assist clients in finding suitable vehicles for their financial circumstances.
- Advanced negotiation skills to secure the best rates for clients.
- Proven sales and closing capabilities.
- Experience in an automotive dealership setting.
Additional Requirements
- Current OMVIC license.
- Valid driver's license.
