About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanical Repairer to join our team at Upper Brant Automotive. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, adjusting, repairing or replacing parts and components of automotive systems, and completing reports to record problems and work performed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify and diagnose issues with mechanical units, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
  • Repair and Replace Parts: Perform repairs and replacements of parts and components, ensuring that all work is done to the highest standards and meets the required specifications.
  • Complete Reports: Accurately complete reports to record problems and work performed, providing detailed information for future reference.
  • Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate with Colleagues: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives, providing support and assistance as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Relocation: Willing to relocate for this position.
  • Valid Driver's Licence: Possess a valid driver's licence.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, manual dexterity, and hand-eye coordination.
