About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Houle Electric Limited. As an Account Executive - Controls, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the controls and DDC industry.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Sales Growth: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve annual sales targets and drive business growth.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with company products and services, and maintain a deep understanding of the controls and DDC industry.
  • Industry Events: Attend industry-related functions, such as tradeshows and conferences, to network and build relationships with potential clients and partners.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of business development and/or strategic sales experience in the controls and DDC industry.
  • Technical Knowledge: Proven technical knowledge of DDC systems, with a preference for Reliable Controls and Schneider.
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Sales Performance: Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets and growth objectives.
  • Education: Business or engineering degree or equivalent experience preferred.
