Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Houle Electric Limited. As an Account Executive - Controls, you will play a key role in driving business growth and expanding our customer base in the Controls/DDC industry.
Key Responsibilities- Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, build relationships with key decision-makers, and develop strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth.
- Sales and Marketing: Collaborate with our sales and marketing teams to implement effective sales and marketing strategies, achieve annual sales quotas, and promote Houle Electric Limited's products and services.
- Customer Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with our customers, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring their needs are met.
- Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with our products and services, and maintain a deep understanding of the Controls/DDC industry.
- Industry Events: Attend industry-related functions, such as tradeshows and conferences, to network and build relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to target new customers, identify retrofit opportunities, and drive business growth.
- Experience: 5+ years of business development and/or strategic sales experience in the Controls/DDC industry.
- Technical Knowledge: Proven technical knowledge of DDC systems, with a preference for Reliable Controls and Schneider.
- Communication Skills: Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Results-Driven: Proven ability to meet and exceed growth and sales targets.
- Networking and Prospecting Skills: Excellent networking and prospecting skills, with the ability to multitask and problem-solve.
- Leadership Skills: Excellent people management and leadership skills, with the ability to thrive in a results-driven environment.
