We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Human Resources Officer to join our team at NAPA Auto Parts Fort McMurray. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including recruitment, staffing, and employee relations.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify current and prospective staffing requirements and develop strategies to meet them.
- Collect and screen applicants, advising them on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.
- Review candidate inventories and coordinate selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates.
- Notify applicants of results of the selection process and prepare job offers.
- Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures, including staff consultation and grievance procedures.
- Supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing, and record-keeping duties.
- Recruit and hire staff, prepare budgets and payrolls, and arrange schedules.
- Oversee payroll administration and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in human resources or a related field.
- College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with human resources software and automatic data processing (ADP) systems.
