About the Opportunity:

Peeple Inc. is seeking a seasoned Project Director to join their team in the Greater Vancouver area. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for overseeing and providing leadership on the design, implementation, and completion of large-scale projects within the civil construction and remediation industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget completion of projects.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and direction to project teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication among team members.
  • Contract Management: Negotiate and manage contractual agreements with clients and vendors, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Financial Management: Oversee project expenditures, procurement requisitions, and expense claims, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with company policies.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that projects meet or exceed quality performance standards, collaborating with HSE Regional Manager and Construction Manager to establish and maintain strict H&S culture and environmental programs.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in civil construction and remediation industries or related experience.
  • Skills: Demonstrated construction project management experience, exceptional time management and organization skills, team management experience, and computer proficiency.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as construction management, engineering, or business administration.
