We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team at CB Canada. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Process and verify invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Manage and maintain accurate records of accounts payable, including invoices, payments, and credits
- Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve any issues or discrepancies
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of accounts payable records
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to negotiate pricing and payment terms
- Assist with internal and external audits as required
- Manage department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it on a daily basis
- 1+ years of experience in an accounts payable role
- AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business, or similar field
- Established communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
- Solid understanding of data entry and accounting principles
- Experience with Accounts Payable software and systems
- Deep understanding of customer information files and financial data
- Foundational knowledge in Oracle and Microsoft Excel
- Detailed and able to work independently
