Overview
The Finance Division is seeking a dedicated professional to provide project management assistance. This role involves collaborating with team members to identify their requirements, monitoring the execution of project plans, and facilitating the testing phases of IT initiatives. The position also entails offering support to Finance personnel utilizing Oracle Financials, Business Objects, and Head-Office reporting, including liaising with the IT department for enhancements and aiding in the creation, modification, and maintenance of automated reports for the Finance Division. Additionally, the Associate will manage the application referential, including signature authority responsibilities. This position reports directly to the Head of Projects & Administration.
Primary Duties
- Act as a liaison for Finance users in various projects.
- Develop financial applications under the guidance of the Head of Projects & Administration using tools such as MS Office, SQL, VBA, and Python.
- Provide technical support for financial applications including Oracle Financials, Leasequery, and Business Objects.
- Conduct application testing and prepare documentation for financial applications that are supported or developed.
- The ideal candidate should possess a foundational understanding of the operations within the financial division.
- Maintain and update the data referential in Oracle Financial.
- Coordinate with the accounting department to close monthly financial periods.
- Assist in the administration of the procurement tool utilized across the Americas.
Reporting Structure
This position reports to the Head of Projects and Administration.
