Your Role

In this pivotal position, you will work closely with the Experiential Learning and Career Development team to devise a comprehensive plan aimed at fostering entrepreneurship within our academic community. Your expertise will guide the organization of workshops, guest speaker events, and collaborations with local business incubators and development organizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver engaging workshops on various entrepreneurship topics.
  • Coordinate guest speaker sessions to inspire and educate students.
  • Collaborate with local business resources to enhance student opportunities.
  • Assist in organizing pitch competitions to showcase student innovations.
  • Provide one-on-one and group coaching to students pursuing entrepreneurial ventures.
  • Facilitate networking opportunities to connect students with industry professionals.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of business ownership experience and a passion for guiding students from diverse academic backgrounds. You should be adept at fostering connections and encouraging individuals to realize their entrepreneurial aspirations.

This role requires a commitment of approximately 5 hours per week, allowing for flexibility to maximize student engagement. Compensation for this contract position is set at $5,000 per term.
