The IT Manager, under the direction of the General Manager, will primarily be responsible to lead and motivate the IT department. This position will plan, develop, and manage all IT services, programs, and support throughout the enterprise. This role will also oversee the implementation, deployment and operation of information systems and technology solutions for business needs. The IT Manager must possess a degree or an advanced degree in computer science, computer systems engineering, software engineering, web design, business administration, or a field related to the industry, as well as three years of experience in a management role and five years of experience in a related industry.
**The IT Manager will be responsible for**:
- Overseeing and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems, ensuring reliability and security with confidence.
- Administering and optimizing M365, MS Windows, and Windows Server environments, ensuring efficient operations.
- Providing support for legacy systems, ensuring their stability and functionality.
- Managing Delivery Truck hardware/software/peripherals, and GPS installations for streamlined operations, VOIP system, RMM tool/AV and more.
- Aiding in transition to and maintenance of the Acumatica ERP system.
- Ensuring robust IT security measures and data protection protocols.
- Managing IT projects, vendor relationships, and budget allocation.
- Providing leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities for the entire IT team.
- Conducting IT budgeting and cost management to optimize resource allocation.
- Establishing and enforcing IT policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Developing disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Evaluating emerging technologies and creating plans that allow for future growth.
**Required Experience**:
- Degree or an advanced degree in computer science, computer systems engineering, software engineering, web design, business administration, or a field related to the industry.
- Three years of experience in a management role and five years of experience in a related industry
- Highly developed understanding of industry regulations, standards, and best practices
- In-depth understanding of the software development lifecycle
- Demonstrated project management skills.

**Work Environment**:
- Flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

**Compensation**:
The IT Manager's compensation is from $70,000 - $95,000 per year, depending on experience. Wilsons Heating has a competitive compensation and benefits package including:
