The role of Chief Operating Officer is an extremely important position. It is the heart of this well-oiled, fast-paced, team-oriented machine that is Gateway Business Intermediaries. We are looking for a unique personality with a strong voice, and the power to tell it like it is. Someone who questions why, and is a clear and concise communicator.

**Principal Responsibilities**
- Oversee and manage daily operations, including financial administration, the firm's brokerage transactions, deal flow, and client relations.
- Support administratively CEO with ongoing deals, filing, contract preparation.
- Continue with development and implementation of policies and procedures to support achieving our mission.
- Ensure that business processes and workflows are efficient, scalable, and aligned with the company’s goals and objectives and improve the efficiency of brokers, analysts, and support staff.
- Identify and Implement and manage technology platforms that support business transactions, client management (CRM), and deal tracking.
- Work with the marketing team to implement strategies that enhance the firm’s brand, market visibility, and reputation.
- Ensure marketing efforts, including digital and traditional advertising, align with the firm’s business development objectives.
- Oversee content creation, website management, and social media presence to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
- Responsible for strategic and operational support to the Founder. Leading Annual, Quarterly, and Monthly planning.
- Support in driving revenue generation through client acquisition and retention strategies.
- Collaborate with the CEO to define long-term strategic goals and business growth plans, being the integrator, leading and championing constant and never ending innovation and growth.
- Lead, manage, and mentor the brokerage team, including brokers, administrative staff, and analysts.
- Oversee recruitment and integration of new employees, support company culture and employee engagement
- Solution focused, always.
- Whatever it takes to achieve other duties as required in a rapidly evolving environment.

**Qualifications**
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or 10 years of sales management experience
- Experience in the Real Estate, M&A, Tech Industry considered an asset
- Experience in finance will be given extra consideration

**Requirements**:

- Kick ass attitude and fun to work with
- Proven experience as a Chief Operating Officer or similar executive role in companies of similar complexity and growth vision.
- Experience in planning and budgeting, strong finance and accounting background
- Knowledge of business processes and functions (finance, marketing, client relations, HR, etc.)
- Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
- Strong analytical ability and proven problem-solving aptitude.
- Communication is key
