Position Overview:

As a key member of the Foilcon team, the Product Manager will be responsible for steering the product vision and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Vision Articulation: Clearly define and communicate the product vision and strategy to guide the product team in their development efforts.
  • Backlog Management: Prioritize features and maintain a well-organized backlog to ensure focused efforts on high-impact tasks.
  • Objective Tracking: Establish measurable goals to evaluate progress and ensure the team is on the right path.
  • Release Management: Determine optimal timing for product releases to maximize customer benefit and feedback collection.
  • Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and address potential risks to enhance the likelihood of product success in the market.
  • Effective Communication: Maintain alignment among the product team, stakeholders, and sponsors through clear and consistent communication.

Expected Deliverables:

  • Comprehensive product vision and roadmap outlining current and future initiatives.
  • Detailed product strategy including target audience, key challenges, and value propositions.
  • Insights from customer discovery activities to inform product development.
  • Well-defined product features and user stories developed in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success.
  • Rationale for product decisions and directions taken.
  • Success stories showcasing product achievements.
  • Continuous delivery of product enhancements through agile methodologies.
  • Strategies for risk management.
  • Regular updates and summaries for senior management regarding product status.

Evaluation Criteria:

  • Relationship Management (35%): Proven ability to foster communication and collaboration among teams to ensure product timelines are met.
  • Product Management Expertise (35%): Experience in identifying risks and issues early, maintaining a product roadmap, and reporting to senior stakeholders.
  • Technical Proficiency (10%): Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and various collaboration tools.
  • Soft Skills (20%): Strong interpersonal, analytical, and decision-making skills, with a focus on teamwork and meeting deadlines.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in effective communication and mediation within product teams.
  • Ability to deliver products using Agile (SCRUM) methodologies.
  • Experience in reporting to senior executives on product programs.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure and online collaboration tools.
  • Background in Public Sector Finance or Banking.
