Key Responsibilities
In this position, as a Product Development Manager for CoCounsel Skills , you will:
- Shape product vision and strategy by acquiring a comprehensive understanding of customer requirements and market & technology dynamics.
- Develop a strategic roadmap that effectively translates customer challenges and opportunities into actionable plans aligned with CoCounsel and Thomson Reuters business objectives.
- Manage the complete product lifecycle, from ideation through execution, ensuring outstanding customer experiences and quantifiable business results.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (technology, user experience design, marketing, sales, etc.) to implement the roadmap and deliver high-value, innovative solutions efficiently.
- Advocate for the customer within engineering teams, prioritizing the product backlog based on customer and business value, while utilizing metrics to track and assess progress.
- Oversee the performance, reliability, and user satisfaction of features/products.
- Clearly articulate and convey the problem, opportunity, and proposed solution to customers, cross-functional teams, and internal stakeholders.
- Work alongside fellow product managers to establish a cohesive CoCounsel experience across various products.
- Identify and assess partnership opportunities for integration with external document management systems.
About You
Ideal candidates for the Product Development Manager role will demonstrate a commitment to developing the following competencies:
- A Juris Doctor (JD) is preferred, but legal experience through alternative means is also acceptable.
- 2-5 years of experience in Product Management.
- Proficient in analyzing data and engaging with users to extract insights effectively and comfortably.
- Familiarity with fundamental UX patterns and the ability to collaborate with a Designer is essential.
- A genuine curiosity and interest in expanding knowledge about Gen AI.
- Experience in developing Enterprise SaaS products is advantageous.
