Role Summary
What is the opportunity?
This position is pivotal in shaping and executing the strategic vision for the Foreign Exchange (FX) and Foreign Currency Account (FCA) offerings. The successful candidate will assess client requirements, optimize pricing structures, enhance profitability, and strengthen our competitive edge in the FX and FCA sectors. Collaboration with key stakeholders across various departments such as BFS, Capital Markets, Marketing, Business Risk, Fraud, Operations, Enablement, Digital, and Technology & Operations is essential to ensure comprehensive management of our core products. The role also involves overseeing P&L performance, pricing strategies, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the FX and FCA components within our primary payment products, focusing on business performance metrics, reporting, and P&L oversight.
- Drive and implement the comprehensive strategy for the FX and FCA portfolios aimed at enhancing revenue, minimizing costs, and increasing transaction volumes:
- The strategy encompasses customer insights, value propositions, channel analysis, competitive landscape, macroeconomic influences, product innovation, marketing initiatives, pricing strategies, and overall profitability.
- Collaborate with partners across BFS, Capital Markets, Business Risk, Operations, IT, and others to influence the design and execution of strategies, processes, policies, and reporting mechanisms that align with product objectives.
- Create financial business cases and conduct analyses for any adjustments to spreads and other business models.
- Execute strategies and plans to ensure the delivery of key initiatives while adapting to evolving market conditions.
- Provide critical insights for product performance, system enhancements, and upgrades.
- Manage business risks, compliance issues, and reputational concerns in partnership with Legal, Compliance, Privacy, and Risk teams.
- Foster and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay informed on economic trends, daily FX forecasts, industry news, and competitor activities to assess product implications.
