Position Overview

As a Food and Beverage Server at Clove, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining high service standards.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly.
  • Prepare and serve specialty food directly at customers' tables.
  • Provide detailed descriptions of menu items, including daily specials.
  • Ensure compliance with provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations.
  • Offer advice on menu selections to enhance customer experience.
  • Manage cash balancing and record sales accurately.
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs efficiently.
  • Serve food and beverages with attention to detail.
  • Supervise fellow servers and bussing staff to maintain service quality.
  • Take orders and relay them to kitchen and bar staff effectively.
  • Schedule staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Train new staff members in service protocols.
  • Assist clients and guests with special needs to ensure their comfort.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service at all times.
