Position Overview

As a Food and Beverage Server at Clove, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Interaction: Address and resolve any customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Menu Knowledge: Provide detailed descriptions of menu items, including daily specials, to enhance the dining experience.
  • Service Excellence: Prepare and serve specialty food at customers' tables, ensuring a high standard of service.
  • Alcohol Service: Must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages in compliance with local regulations.
  • Sales Management: Balance cash and accurately record sales transactions.
  • Table Maintenance: Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a tidy dining environment.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise fellow servers and bussing staff, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Order Management: Take customer orders and relay them efficiently to kitchen and bar staff.
  • Staff Coordination: Schedule and train staff to uphold service standards.
  • Guest Assistance: Provide support to clients and guests with special needs, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train; prior experience in food and beverage service is an asset.
  • Work Hours: Availability to work between 30 to 40 hours per week.
