Retail Supervisor Role Overview

As a Retail Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations within the store. Your leadership will ensure that our team delivers exceptional service while maintaining high standards of store presentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school education is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year and up to 2 years of relevant experience in a retail environment.
  • Core Duties:
    • Delegate tasks to sales associates effectively.
    • Recruit, train, and mentor new team members.
    • Authorize transactions including payments and returns.
    • Manage inventory levels and merchandise sales.
    • Compile reports and address operational challenges.
    • Oversee stock organization and supervise team activities.
    • Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both staff and customers.
  • Team Leadership: Responsible for supervising a team of 3-4 employees.
  • Work Environment:
    • Fast-paced setting with a focus on meeting tight deadlines.
    • Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and moving merchandise.
    • Attention to detail is essential for maintaining store standards.
    • Job involves a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the shift.
  • Work Schedule: Standard hours of work are 40 hours per week.
