About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Locale Restaurant. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the expectations of our guests.
    • Source high-quality ingredients and manage inventory to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Chef Management
    • Supervise and mentor a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
    • Provide guidance and support to help team members develop their skills and advance in their careers.
  • Food Safety and Quality
    • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and safety.
    • Implement and maintain food safety protocols to prevent contamination and foodborne illness.
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet demand.
    • Monitor and control costs to ensure that we are operating within budget.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work closely with our front-of-house team to ensure that our guests receive exceptional service and a seamless dining experience.
    • Collaborate with our management team to develop and implement strategies to drive sales and revenue growth.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification
    • Cook Trade Certification
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role.
  • Skills and Qualities
    • Strong leadership and management skills.
    • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food safety protocols.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
