About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Bar.B.Q 1988. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our menu offerings meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement new menu items, specials, and promotions to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Culinary Leadership: Supervise and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure that they are equipped to deliver exceptional food quality and service.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of ingredients, supplies, and equipment to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet our culinary needs.
  • Food Safety and Quality Control: Implement and maintain strict food safety and quality control procedures to ensure that our food products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Cost Control: Manage kitchen expenses and inventory to ensure that we are operating within budget and achieving our financial goals.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring that all menu items are prepared to order and presented in a timely and visually appealing manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a senior culinary role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, organized, reliability, team player.
