Job Summary

Pomeroy Lodging LP is seeking a highly skilled Food and Beverage Operations Manager to join our team at the Kananaskis Mountain Lodge.

About the Role:

We are looking for a seasoned professional with a strong background in hotel and restaurant operations to lead our Food and Beverage team. As a Food and Beverage Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our outlets, ensuring exceptional guest service, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead by Example: Motivate and direct the Food and Beverage team to deliver consistent service and high-quality food products.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure effective leadership, training, and development of employees to achieve operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
  • Financial Management: Monitor and control labor costs, inventory, and revenue to meet business objectives.
  • Guest Experience: Foster a positive and welcoming environment for guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Team Development: Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance management to employees to enhance their skills and career growth.
  • Communication: Maintain open communication with all departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
  • Innovation: Develop and implement initiatives to drive revenue growth, improve efficiency, and enhance the guest experience.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of hotel Food and Beverage leadership experience.
  • Education: Post-secondary education in Hospitality Management an asset.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills; ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of hotel and restaurant operations, including food and beverage service, inventory management, and labor control.
