Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Food and Beverage to join our team at Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge. As a key member of our executive team, you will be responsible for overseeing the food and beverage operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction and loyalty
  • Lead a team of food and beverage professionals to deliver exceptional service and quality
  • Manage food and beverage costs, inventory, and labor to achieve budgeted targets
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative menus and promotions
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, making adjustments as needed to optimize revenue and margins
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, vendors, and partners
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in hospitality or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of senior management experience in food and beverage operations
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and labor control
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
