Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at 2442851 Alberta Ltd. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our daily operations and ensuring the smooth execution of our business activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Planning: Coordinate and arrange seminars, conferences, and other events to facilitate communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
  • Financial Management: Plan, control, and manage budgets and expenditures to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and guide other workers to ensure they have the necessary support and resources to perform their duties effectively.
  • Policies and Procedures: Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures to ensure consistency and quality in our operations.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to other workers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Meeting Minutes: Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences to ensure accurate documentation and follow-up actions.
  • Occupation Classification: Oversee the classification and rating of occupations to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Scheduling: Schedule and confirm appointments to ensure timely and efficient use of time.
  • Training Strategies: Develop and implement training and development strategies to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members.
  • Communication: Answer telephone calls and relay messages to ensure effective communication and response to inquiries.
  • Information Management: Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems to ensure accurate and efficient access to information.
  • Digital Database: Maintain and manage digital databases to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Bookkeeping: Perform basic bookkeeping tasks to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct performance reviews to evaluate the performance of team members and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Operations Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
