Reception/administrative Assistant

We are seeking a **Part-Time Reception/Administrative Assistant** to join our team and contribute to the vibrant and collaborative atmosphere that sets us apart. **This role is to fulfill a 12-18 month leave coverage with the opportunity to extend into a full-time opportunity given our growth ** As an integral part of our administrative team, you will not only coordinate day-to-day operations but also play a crucial role in upholding and enhancing our unique company culture.
As the Reception/Administrative Assistant, you will be at the heart of our operations, efficiently managing documentation and ensuring seamless day-to-day activities. Your role extends beyond traditional administrative duties; you will be a key player in fostering a positive and inclusive culture within Weston MFG.
**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:
- **Organize and Coordinate**: Streamline office activities to enhance efficiency and productivity, promoting a collaborative environment.
- **Safety First**: Implement safety documentation compliance guidelines, ensuring a secure work environment aligned with our commitment to employee well-being.
- **Collaborate and Communicate**: Facilitate effective communication both internally and externally, contributing to a culture of transparency and teamwork.
- **Support**: Provide administrative support to various departments, ensuring alignment with our organizational values.
**Infrequent Basis Tasks**:
- **Team Building**: Assist in planning team-building events to strengthen our sense of community.
- **Office & Space Cleanliness**:Utilize working hours to assist in the environment upkeep of our main reception and employee spaces (including but not limited to, office entrance, lunchrooms, bathrooms, etc.)
- **Policy Adherence**: Contribute to updating and maintaining company safety policies and procedures, ensuring they reflect our evolving work environment.
- **Vendor Liaison**: Act as a liaison between management and external vendors and visitors, embodying our values in all correspondence.
**Qualifications**:
- **Educational Background**: A background in Business Admin, Office Admin, or related field is preferred.
- **Experience**: 2 years of demonstrated expertise in administrative roles, showcasing strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- **Technical**: Proficiency in office software (Microsoft, Outlook, etc.) and productivity tools.
- **Communication Skills**: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for professional interaction.
