The Corporate Partnerships Intern plays a crucial role in assisting the daily functions of one of OSEG's primary revenue-generating sectors. This position is essential for providing support across various aspects of the business development cycle, including conducting research, aiding in account fulfillment, managing asset inventories, creating high-quality sales materials, and executing hospitality programs.

Students interested in this internship opportunity must be enrolled in an accredited post-secondary program that requires internship credits for graduation.

  • This internship is a full-time commitment for a duration of four (4) months.
  • Candidates must be part of a post-secondary education program that offers academic credits for the internship placement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the management and innovation of sales and partner fulfillment strategies, processes, and campaigns that reflect a leading Canadian sports organization;
  • Conduct research to identify potential partners, including category assessments, key contact identification, and gathering pertinent information (e.g., company values, existing partnerships) to aid in the solicitation process;
  • Support the Corporate Partnerships team with various initiatives related to Ottawa REDBLACKS and Ottawa 67's partner fulfillment, such as tracking inventory, submitting assets, cataloging photos, and creating partner guides;
  • Assist in managing the premium seating inventory at TD Place and fulfilling partner requirements;
  • Provide logistical support in planning and executing partner events at TD Place;
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing/Events/Digital/Analytics/Communications and Ticketing) to facilitate the development and implementation of partnership programs;
  • Offer operational support during Ottawa REDBLACKS Home Games and select Ottawa 67's Home Games.

Qualifications

  • Solid understanding of fundamental marketing principles, activations, valuations, and program customization;
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills – adept at building and nurturing relationships;
  • Strong written communication abilities;
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills;
  • High proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and related software;
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure, and thrive in a dynamic environment;
  • Ambitious, with a strong work ethic and openness to new ideas.
