About the Role

CBC/Radio-Canada is seeking a highly skilled Community Experience Manager to join our team in Ottawa. As a key member of our Community Experiences and Partnerships team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to engage with our communities and build strong partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Define the strategy, conduct annual planning for community and partnership events, and develop associated activation plans.
  • Partnership Development: Develop and maintain productive relationships with other Corporation departments, external partners, and stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
  • Event Supervision: Oversee the development and operationalization of community and partnership events, as well as brand outreach activities.
  • Team Management: Effectively supervise the teams involved in community and partnership events, and manage the allocated financial resources.
  • Metrics and Impact Analysis: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of community and partnership events, and conduct in-depth analysis to optimize results.
Requirements
  • University degree in a marketing/communications-related field
  • Six (6) to eight (8) years' relevant experience
  • Proven track record in developing and executing marketing/communications strategic plans
  • In-depth knowledge of media and public relations, partnership negotiations, and experiential marketing
  • Ability to analyze a variety of specialized studies and data, especially sociodemographic data
  • Solid experience in team management, including developing team potential and employees' personal potential, motivating and guiding teams toward their objectives and leading them to success
  • Innovative, creative ability to launch, direct, and engage
  • Ability to maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners
  • Good persuasive communication skills
  • Good writing skills
  • Solid grasp of the public broadcaster's role and function
  • In-depth knowledge of the regions served (demographics, politics, arts and entertainment, etc.)
  • Good knowledge of Google Workspace
  • Bilingualism (English and French, spoken and written)
