Territory Sales Manager

Brandt Truck & Trailer is actively seeking a Territory Sales Manager for our operations. This role entails direct sales and leasing of both new and pre-owned heavy-duty transportation vehicles and trailers. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of market dynamics and upcoming sales events, enabling them to anticipate and pinpoint potential equipment for sale or consignment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in proactive outreach and initiate contact with potential clients
  • Participate in various sales initiatives and successfully close competitive deals
  • Foster strong relationships with clients to address issues and enhance customer loyalty
  • Maintain detailed profiles for all accounts, ensuring customer information is current
  • Keep thorough records related to each transaction, including call logs, quotes, specifications, sales orders, expense reports, and any other necessary documentation
  • Travel regularly within the designated territory

Essential Skills:

  • A positive and professional demeanor when facing both internal and external challenges
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of specialized transportation equipment and the industry landscape
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a strong commitment to customer service and relationship building
  • Ability to work independently, manage tasks under pressure, and collaborate with team members who may have differing priorities
  • A minimum of 5 years of sales experience (or equivalent)
  • Possession of a Class 5 driver's license is required; a Class 1 license is considered advantageous
  • Must be eligible to obtain or currently hold a valid passport and be willing to travel internationally
