Brandt Truck & Trailers is seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Parts & Service Advisor to join our team in Grande Prairie. This role is responsible for promoting and selling heavy-duty transportation truck, rigging, and trailer parts and service, as well as providing exceptional after-sales support to existing and new customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities through regular cold calls and customer interactions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to resolve issues and grow customer loyalty
  • Stay up-to-date on new products and services to effectively communicate value to customers
  • Drive sales growth through effective parts and service sales strategies
  • Develop and implement a yearly territory plan, including a customer target list
  • Utilize customer database records to track sales meetings, opportunities, quotes, and notes
  • Collaborate with management to meet budget goals and expand the customer base
Requirements:
  • A Journeyman ticket as a heavy-duty mechanic and/or Parts person is an asset
  • Previous sales experience in the heavy truck and trailer equipment industry
  • Ability to travel within the territory and work flexible hours
  • A valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract are required
  • A positive and professional attitude to both internal and external challenges
  • Understanding of specialized transportation equipment and industry
  • Strong people skills, with a high desire to serve customers and nurture relationships
  • Ability to work unsupervised, complete tasks under pressure, and cooperate with team members who may have different focus and priorities
