About the Role

Spectrawise Consulting inc is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team. As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Planning: Coordinate and arrange seminars, conferences, and other events to support our business objectives.
  • Financial Management: Plan and control budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial compliance.
  • Policies and Procedures: Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures to ensure efficient operations.
  • Meeting Support: Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences to ensure accurate documentation.
  • Training and Development: Manage training and development strategies to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Communication: Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and respond to electronic enquiries to provide excellent customer service.
  • Project Management: Assign, coordinate, and review projects and programs to ensure timely completion.
  • Computer and Technology: Utilize MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Access, and MS Office to perform administrative tasks.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Support for Persons with Disabilities: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Support newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition and offer mentorship programs to pair them with experienced employees.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
