Villa Providence is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team.
In this role, you will play a vital part in providing exceptional care to our residents, ensuring their well-being and comfort within our senior living community.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive care plans for residents, collaborating with healthcare professionals and families.
- Supervise and mentor nursing assistants and resident attendants, fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.
- Effectively manage unit resources, ensuring optimal utilization and patient safety.
- Maintain accurate documentation of resident information and communicate effectively with colleagues and families.
- Adhere to professional standards, legal guidelines, and ethical principles in all aspects of care delivery.
- Participate actively in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
- Two years of recent experience in geriatric care is an asset.
- Active registration with the New Brunswick Nurses Association.
- Strong organizational, planning, leadership, and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
- Excellent communication abilities in both French and English.
