About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Shannex Incorporated. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading our nursing staff in delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing, planning, evaluating, documenting, and directing patient needs through consultation with medical professionals, care conferences, and team members;
  • Providing leadership to healthcare staff and overseeing the provision of quality healthcare services respecting patient rights to individualized planning of healthcare services;
  • Working with existing management and healthcare teams to promote communication and compliance to policies and procedures;
  • Assisting with the development, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans;
  • Administering and recording prescribed medication as per company policy and scope of practice;
  • Applying dressings and treatments according to physician's orders and policy;
  • Assisting with supervision and evaluation of job performance of care staff;

About You

We are looking for a candidate who possesses a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and is currently registered with the Nurses Association of New Brunswick (NANB). You should have a strong ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Additionally, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of nursing and healthcare practices, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and previous supervisory and leadership experience is considered a strong asset.
