Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse Class A to join our team at Driscoll (Moncton). As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide holistic care to patients, incorporating the nursing profession's values of knowledge, theory, and practice.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients and families
  • Provide education and support to patients and families
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Nursing or Bachelor Degree in Nursing
  • Registered (active) or ability to register with the Nurses Association of New Brunswick
  • Minimum of two years in the last five years of specialized nursing experience in family practice, surgical, palliative care, or oncology
  • Knowledge of the target population of Extra-Mural Services and available community services
  • Valid New Brunswick Class 5 Driver's License and good driving record
  • Current CPR Level C certification
  • Ability to work efficiently as a team member and possess leadership and coaching skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, good judgment, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work all shifts as assigned and maintain a good attendance record
  • High regard for confidentiality
  • Excellent work habits and professional appearance
