Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse Class A to join our team at Driscoll (Moncton). As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide holistic care to patients, incorporating the nursing profession's values of knowledge, theory, and practice.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients and families
- Provide education and support to patients and families
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Diploma in Nursing or Bachelor Degree in Nursing
- Registered (active) or ability to register with the Nurses Association of New Brunswick
- Minimum of two years in the last five years of specialized nursing experience in family practice, surgical, palliative care, or oncology
- Knowledge of the target population of Extra-Mural Services and available community services
- Valid New Brunswick Class 5 Driver's License and good driving record
- Current CPR Level C certification
- Ability to work efficiently as a team member and possess leadership and coaching skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, good judgment, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work all shifts as assigned and maintain a good attendance record
- High regard for confidentiality
- Excellent work habits and professional appearance
