Canadian Blood Services is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Donor Centre team in Moncton, New Brunswick.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct registration and confidential screening to determine donor eligibility and provide a positive donor experience.
- Provide donors with information, instruction, and advice on blood donation, leveraging effective communication skills.
- Act as a team lead for collection events, providing coaching and consultation to donor centre staff as needed.
- Work in a diverse team environment to collect whole blood and/or apheresis blood components, which save lives daily.
- Assist in setting up booths, tables, and equipment for mobile events within our communities.
- Completion of an accredited nursing program and current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the province.
- Two years of experience working as a nurse, with certification in First Aid and CPR considered an asset.
- Previous experience as a preceptor or with coaching others is an asset.
- Technical skills including Microsoft Word and Outlook, with the ability to learn new systems and programs.
- A second language is considered an asset to support a positive donor experience.
- Payment in lieu of vacation and holidays.
- Premiums paid according to the collective agreement.

- Shifts/hours will vary, with flexibility required to accommodate assigned shifts based on operational needs.
- Travel will be required for mobile events in our communities, with transportation provided by Canadian Blood Services.
- Physical requirements for the role include the ability to lift weights up to 10 kg (22 lbs.).
