About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Great Hawk Transport Inc. as a key member of our administrative staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Office Management: Establish and maintain efficient office procedures and routines to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule and confirm appointments, meetings, and events, ensuring timely and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Communication and Customer Service: Respond to telephone and electronic inquiries, providing exceptional customer service and support to internal and external clients.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to senior staff members, including preparing correspondence, reports, and presentations.
  • Inventory Management: Order and maintain office supplies, ensuring adequate inventory levels and minimizing waste.
  • Information Management: Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Technical Skills: Utilize MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word to create and edit documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in an administrative role.
  • Personal Qualities: Organized, time management, and strong communication skills.
  • Work Environment: 35 hours per week, permanent position.
  • Language: English.
