Role Overview

As a Senior Client Engagement Executive, you will work collaboratively across various roles to grasp a client's mission objectives and outline project targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead teams composed of AWS members, customer stakeholders, and potentially third-party contributors to formulate and implement strategies that meet project objectives.
  • Utilize AWS methodologies to assist clients in visualizing their strategic goals and requirements.
  • Employ agile project delivery techniques to guide teams of both business and technical resources while overseeing scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Exhibit management and leadership skills to effectively execute project plans, address customer needs, resolve challenges, and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Engage with the US Intelligence Community to support their transformational cloud initiatives.
  • Passionately educate, train, design, and develop cloud solutions for a diverse range of clients.
  • Deliver mission objectives by managing a matrixed team across multiple agile technical engagements.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee all phases of project lifecycles to ensure successful outcomes, including capturing requirements, developing governance plans, and managing budgets.
  • Communicate effectively with tailored updates for various audiences, from executive-level summaries to detailed project plans.
  • Apply strategic judgment to challenge and guide teams while managing client expectations throughout the engagement.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to help clients achieve their mission outcomes and drive innovation through iterative feedback.
  • Collaborate with AWS Account, Support, and Service teams to relay customer feedback and enhance AWS offerings.
Work Environment

It is anticipated that you will work from designated locations or client sites as needed. Flexibility in work hours and arrangements is a key aspect of our culture, ensuring that success at work does not compromise personal commitments.

Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in customer-facing, large-scale implementation consulting across diverse teams.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise-level IT projects, with a minimum of 3 years utilizing documented methodologies such as Agile.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience supporting National Security mission systems.
  • Ability to represent AWS in client environments and engage in discussions with senior personnel regarding project management and risk mitigation.
  • Active project management certification.
  • Experience managing projects with significant resources and budgets.
  • Understanding of technology principles including infrastructure, data management, and security.
  • Proven success in complex enterprise environments as a project or program manager.
  • Familiarity with US Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and government contracting.
