Rental Service Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Rental Service Supervisor to join our team at H.A.L.T. HOLDINGS LTD. As a key member of our rental agency, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our rental services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Effectively allocate tasks to our sales team to ensure seamless customer service.
  • Authorize Payments: Verify and approve payments by cheque to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Order Merchandise: Coordinate the procurement of necessary inventory to meet customer demands.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure efficient coverage of our rental services.
  • Prepare Reports: Generate detailed reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Organize Inventory: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records to prevent stock discrepancies.
  • Supervise Workers: Lead and mentor our retail salespersons and sales clerks to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Setting: Our rental agency operates in a fast-paced environment, requiring adaptability and strong communication skills.
  • Supervision: You will be responsible for supervising 3-4 team members.
  • Security and Safety: A criminal record check is required for this position.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available for our employees.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: This role requires standing for extended periods, handling heavy loads, and working under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: We are looking for a candidate with excellent oral communication skills, flexibility, and a strong team player attitude.

Experience: We require at least 1 year of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in sales and customer service.

Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.

Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
