Job Description

BMO is currently seeking a Purchase Order Analyst for a 6-month contract.

Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate the requisition and purchase order processes for various technology requests as part of the Procurement lifecycle. You will collaborate with business partners and suppliers to ensure that actions are completed accurately and promptly. Additionally, you will support process controls and adhere to internal guidelines and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily hardware and business application requisitions within the Technology Performance Management group.
  • Collaborate with business partners and team leads to prioritize and manage the request queue.
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all procurement requests.
  • Establish effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment.
  • Understand financial outcomes and their implications on business results.
  • Develop knowledge related to business strategies, plans, and financial activities.
  • Coordinate and execute specific activities for the implementation of strategic initiatives, including tracking metrics and milestones.
  • Focus primarily on the business/group within BMO, with potential enterprise-wide responsibilities.
  • Exercise judgment to identify, diagnose, and resolve issues within established guidelines.
  • Independently handle a range of complex tasks, including unique situations.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Purchase Order Processing: 2 years (Required)
  • Coordinating with Suppliers/Vendors: 2 years (Required)
  • MS Office (Outlook, Excel): 2 years (Required)
  • Banking/Financial Industry: 2 years (Desired)

Education/Certifications:

Undergraduate Degree or Diploma in a Related Field
