Purchasing Coordinator Role with Manga Hotel Group

Manga Hotel Group, a prominent Canadian company, is seeking an experienced Purchasing Coordinator to join our Head Office team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating the procurement process, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and efficient acquisition of materials and supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and purchase materials, equipment, and services in line with hotel requirements.
  • Negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders, maintaining accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain and update supplier records and databases.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to meet demand.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize procurement processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
  • Provide general administrative support.
  • Maintain office supplies and manage the office environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the hotel industry.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
