Job Overview

The House of Commons' Parliamentary Precinct Operations is seeking to create a pool of qualified candidates for potential future openings in the Print, Mail and Framing Services Officer role.

As the primary point of contact, you will deliver efficient and high-quality printing and mailing solutions to our clients. Your client-focused mindset ensures that service excellence is prioritized in all your interactions. You will respond to inquiries promptly and accurately, providing information or directing clients to the appropriate resources.

Your responsibilities will include overseeing the quality assurance of all proofs. This role entails ensuring the accurate entry and verification of necessary data within the shipping system, as well as validating the information contained in the monthly mailing data file. You will identify and address discrepancies while proactively anticipating future changes, particularly regarding the redistribution of electoral constituency boundaries to guarantee that materials are delivered to the correct constituencies across Canada.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Successful completion of secondary education.

Experience:

  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a client service setting, ideally within the printing and/or mailing sector;
  • Experience in advising clients on processes and procedures, as well as tracking requests in automated systems;
  • Experience in conducting quality assurance;
  • Experience managing multiple high-priority client requests and adapting to evolving demands;
  • Experience in generating reports for management;
  • Extensive proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.

Asset:

  • Familiarity with Canada Post standards and their Electronic Shipping Tool software.
