We are seeking a talented Field Service Technician to play a crucial role in our forward-thinking team. Responsibilities

- Execute on-site maintenance and repairs for production printing equipment.

- Identify and resolve technical challenges swiftly to reduce production interruptions.

- Perform routine inspections and carry out preventive maintenance tasks.

- Install, set up, and calibrate production printing machinery for peak performance.

- Work closely with clients, providing outstanding customer service and support.

- Conduct on-site service for multifunction printers (MFPs).

- Manage parts and service calls while maintaining accurate records to meet key performance indicators (KPIs).

- Commit to learning new technologies, keeping precise records, and assisting team members as needed.

- 10% - Lead referrals, assist with customer evaluations, and solution design.

- 90% - Break-fix and customer support.

- Seek opportunities to enhance territory parts budgeting and inventory management.

- Perform additional relevant duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in servicing and repairing production printing machinery.

- Skilled in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting within a production printing context.

- Familiarity with various production printing technologies and systems.

- Excellent communication abilities and a strong customer service focus.

- Capacity to work independently and adapt to diverse client environments.

Network Skills:
- Installation and troubleshooting of basic printing and scanning solutions.
- Proficient in Microsoft OS peer-to-peer and client-server environments.
- Familiar with printing from common business applications.

Solutions Knowledge: Basic understanding of the solutions portfolio.

Product Knowledge: Comprehensive working knowledge and certification of production systems.

Color Skills: Familiarity with calibration and RIP configurations.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.

Mentoring and Instruction: 10% - Based on technical expertise.

Pre/Post Consulting Ability: Moderate.

Working Directions: Requires limited assistance for more complex issues.

Must be positive, outgoing, self-motivated, and dedicated to fostering and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Travel within Canada is required. Candidates must provide and maintain valid travel documents at their own expense.

A personal vehicle is necessary, along with valid insurance that meets appropriate coverage requirements and a valid driver's license in good standing.

Standby and after-hours work may be necessary, and training may involve after-hours travel and overnight stays, including weekends.

Perform other relevant duties as assigned by management.
