Job Overview

The House of Commons' Parliamentary Precinct Operations is seeking to create a pool of qualified candidates for future opportunities in the Print, Mail and Framing Services Officer role.

As the primary point of contact, you will deliver effective and high-quality printing and mailing solutions to our clients. Your client-focused approach ensures that service excellence is prioritized in all your interactions. You will respond to inquiries promptly and accurately, providing necessary information or directing clients to the appropriate department or individual.

Your responsibilities will include overseeing the quality assurance of all proofs. This entails ensuring the accurate entry and verification of essential data within the shipping system, as well as validating the information contained in the monthly mailing data file. You will be tasked with identifying and resolving discrepancies while anticipating future changes, particularly regarding the redistribution of electoral constituency boundaries to guarantee that materials are dispatched to the correct constituency across Canada.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Successful completion of secondary education.

Experience:

  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a client service environment, ideally within the printing and/or mailing sectors;
  • Experience in advising clients on processes and procedures, as well as recording and tracking requests in automated systems;
  • Experience in conducting quality assurance;
  • Experience managing multiple high-priority client requests and adapting to rapidly changing demands;
  • Experience in generating reports for management;
  • Extensive proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.

Asset:

  • Familiarity with Canada Post standards and their Electronic Shipping Tool software.
