Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and insightful leader to spearhead our rapidly expanding national Influencer Marketing team. Reporting to the Head of Influencer Canada and North American Influencer Operations, the ideal candidate will be well-versed in the latest trends, regulations, and best practices within the influencer marketing domain. They should possess a rich portfolio of successful case studies demonstrating their ability to tackle complex brand challenges through strategic problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to devise strategic and innovative influencer marketing solutions.
  • Build and nurture a high-performing, diverse team of influencer marketing specialists.
  • Ensure that Edelman Canada's influencer processes—covering identification, vetting, negotiation, management, and reporting—are seamless and effective.
  • Drive growth in our influencer marketing sector through exceptional storytelling and robust relationship-building.
  • Stay informed about the latest influencer marketing trends, including compliance and performance metrics.
  • Facilitate program integration with relevant specialties such as Insights and Analytics, Paid Performance, and Creative.
  • Oversee multiple influencer projects, ensuring timely delivery, comprehensive reporting, and adherence to budgets.
  • Lead the creation of content and brand overview documents for influencers, detailing program requirements and expectations.
  • Act as an advocate for the value of thoughtful and innovative influencer marketing within the Edelman network and the broader marketing community.
  • Exemplify a leadership style characterized by empathy, innovation, diligence, strategic thinking, and collaboration.
  • Encourage a culture of inquiry and excellence among clients and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of relevant experience in Digital, Content, or Brand Marketing.
  • 5-6 years of experience in social media and community management.
  • 4-5 years of experience in influencer marketing, including influencer identification, program management, outreach strategies, content planning, and reporting.
  • Proven experience in managing high-performing teams is essential.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in developing and leading integrated campaign strategies.
  • Ability to manage multiple medium to large-scale projects that involve digital content development.
  • Strong understanding of the influencer marketing landscape and best practices.
  • Demonstrated capability in leading and developing influencer marketing plans.
  • Excellent research, writing, and editing skills, with the ability to maintain professional relationships with clients and influencers.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of internal contacts, showcasing a high level of verbal and written communication skills.
