Job Summary
We Are Social is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Influencer Director to join our team in Toronto. As an Influencer Director, you will be responsible for leading influencer planning for a portfolio of client strategies, particularly focused on building, creative, innovative creator strategies and executions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead influencer planning for a portfolio of client strategies, particularly focused on building, creative, innovative creator strategies and executions.
- Work with our Creative and Editorial Teams to develop 'challenges' or 'briefs' so we activate creatives in a collaborative and inspiring manner.
- Grow and lead a team of Influencer Managers/Coordinators to ideate and oversee execution of multi-platform programs leveraging trends and data-driven insights.
- Keep on top of emerging social trends, platforms, technologies, and creators in the Canadian market.
- Be visible in the industry, actively engaging in forums, discussions, and thought leadership around creators, content, and the future of the creator economy in a web 3.0 era.
- Active involvement in identifying new business opportunities on your clients, bringing them to agency leadership to decide how we move forward.
Requirements
- A confident, passionate, and enthusiastic Influencer Director with 7-10 years of experience in a creative agency or brand environment working in social, with experience managing influencer relations mandatory.
- Articulate and able to present confidently to both clients and internal teams.
- A curiosity for the brightest and best in social, and translating this into brilliant creative and editorial executions.
- Someone obsessed with the internet and how online culture shapes the world around us.
- Natural curiosity and understanding of consumer behaviors and mindset in social.
