Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and insightful leader to guide our rapidly expanding national Influencer Marketing team. Reporting to the Head of Influencer Canada and North American Influencer Operations, the ideal candidate will be well-versed in the latest trends, opportunities, regulations, and best practices within the influencer marketing domain. They should possess a rich portfolio of successful case studies that demonstrate their strategic problem-solving capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to devise strategic, innovative influencer marketing solutions.
  • Foster and develop a high-performing, diverse team of influencer marketing specialists.
  • Ensure that Edelman Canada's influencer processes for identification, vetting, negotiation, management, and reporting are exemplary and seamless.
  • Drive growth in our influencer marketing sector through exceptional work, compelling storytelling, and robust relationships.
  • Stay informed on the latest trends in influencer marketing, including compliance and performance best practices.
  • Coordinate program integration with relevant specialties such as Insights and Analytics, Paid Performance, and Creative.
  • Oversee multiple influencer projects at a senior level, ensuring timely delivery, thorough reporting, and budget adherence.
  • Lead the creation of content and brand overview documents for influencers, detailing program requirements and expectations.
  • Advocate for the value of thoughtful and innovative influencer marketing within the Edelman network and the broader marketing community.
  • Exemplify a leadership style rooted in empathy, innovation, diligence, strategic thinking, and collaboration.
  • Encourage clients and internal stakeholders to ask critical questions and strive for excellence in their work.

Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of relevant experience in Digital, Content, or Brand Marketing.
  • 5-6 years of experience in social media and community management.
  • 4-5 years of experience in influencer marketing, including influencer identification, program management, outreach strategies, content planning, and reporting.
  • Proven experience in managing high-performing teams is essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in developing and leading integrated campaign strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple medium to large-sized projects simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of the influencer marketing landscape and best practices.
  • Proven capability to lead and develop influencer marketing plans.
  • Excellent research, writing, and editing skills, with the ability to maintain professional relationships with clients and influencers.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of internal contacts.
