The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of six years of progressive experience in the field of contaminated land assessment and remediation, coupled with substantial project management expertise. Daily Responsibilities:

  1. Championing Health & Safety initiatives, you will be an advocate for our Zero Harm safety culture, which remains our top priority.
  2. Promoting Inclusion & Diversity, ensuring that all team members feel empowered to express their authentic selves at work.
  3. Leading project teams in the execution of various contaminated sites projects, managing all aspects including project scope, budget oversight, planning, scheduling, and resource coordination.
  4. Utilizing your strong interpersonal skills to empower colleagues and maintain robust client relationships.
  5. Conducting fieldwork as necessary, which may include soil, groundwater, vapor, surface water, and sediment investigations, as well as overseeing site remediation efforts.
  6. Preparing high-quality deliverables, overseeing data collection, analysis, and reporting for environmental site assessments and remediation projects.
  7. Receiving support from colleagues across various disciplines, facilitating your success in achieving both personal and project objectives.
  8. Participating in proposal development, including work plans, schedules, and cost estimates for senior review.

Qualifications:

  1. A positive and proactive attitude, with a willingness to learn and share knowledge.
  2. Self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to think creatively.
  3. A bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geoscience, Biology, or a related field.
  4. A relevant professional designation such as P.Eng., P.Geo., P.Ag., P.Chem., or R.P.Bio., or the ability to obtain one shortly.
  5. A minimum of six years of experience in environmental consulting.
  6. A solid understanding of contaminated site investigation techniques and relevant legislation.
  7. A keen interest in new technologies, methodologies, and field techniques.
  8. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  9. A clean Driver's Abstract and willingness to travel as required.
