About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at WSP, specializing in contaminated sites investigation and remediation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading project-focused teams in the delivery of contaminated sites projects, managing clients' projects, and ensuring the successful execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project-focused teams in the delivery of contaminated sites projects
  • Manage clients' projects, including project scoping, budget control, planning, development of schedules, and coordination of resources
  • Conduct site visits to monitor the safety of our people and oversee site remediation
  • Prepare quality deliverables, oversee data collection, compilation, interpretation, and reporting for phased environmental site assessments, remediation, and site monitoring
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with colleagues from various disciplines and levels to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Participate in proposal preparation, including development of work plans, schedules, and cost estimates
Requirements
  • Minimum of six years of experience in environmental consulting, with a focus on contaminated sites investigation and remediation
  • Relevant professional designation, such as P.Eng., P.Geo., P.Ag., P.Chem., or R.P.Bio.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work in a variety of environmental conditions, including remote or isolated areas, and to conduct fieldwork as required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude
